Ghostemane Bonesaw Music Video

This project was completed in July 2019, when I was contacted by director and animator Nick Cinelli asking me to collaborate with him on a short film.

The project was a music video for the American musician Ghostemane, who wanted to produce a series of animated music videos.

My part of the project was in building the three sets required for the planned shots:

  • An Exterior Set with working bunker door, to be broken up into four parts for ease of transportation and filming.
  • An Interior Corridor Set to be compatible with the bunker door, and including practical lighting. Built in four sections with removable roof sections for ease of transportation and filming.
  • An Interior Control Room Set to be compatible with the corridor door. Built in four sections with removable walls for ease of transportation and filming.

The build took three weeks working in a rented workshop in London. I built the three sets with the assistance of Nick (Director).

In addition to myself, Modelmakers Harry Saxon and Lisa Ott made the Control Panel and Trees, and Puppets respectively.

The materials used were MDF, timber, insulation foam, papier mache and paints, as well as assorted textures and flocks in places.

The video was animated by Nick Cinelli in London, and we were assisted in the project by Production Designer Kristina Kovacs McGarrity.
